4 Blogging mistakes that you have to avoid

You know that I’ve started blogging seriously and full-time lately and I’m also taking some courses about blogging the one that I’m current enrolled in is Blog for Fashion Business, an online course of FIT (fashion institute of technology in New York ) .

Blogging is not so easy and to be successful you (we) have to follow some rules and avoid some mistakes , so today lets talk about the blogging mistakes that you have to avoid to become a successful blogger .

Not blogging regularly

To create a community publishing consistently quality content is fundamental . This is one of the most common blogging mistake that we absolutely have to avoid. Would you follow a blog that publish only twice a month ? I don’t think so. The most famous bloggers publish quality content at least 3 times a week . To help you blogging regularly you can try to create an editorial calendar for each month and you have to find a post everyday or at least 3 days per week . Creating a schedule ahead of time will help you to have the posts ready and remind that if you plan to put out new posts every Monday and Wednesday, try not to start writing Monday’s post on Monday morning .

Create Weak Blog Titles

The title of your post is the first thing that your readers will read and they will decide if they will open the entire post or not so it needs to be attractive .Remind also that interesting headlines get more shares on social media

Not sharing your content

You have not finished when you hit publish, a post must be shared all over your social networks multiple times a day so that your readers will easily find it. People have to know that you’ve published something new .

Expecting immediate returns

Blogging is not so easy as it may sounds and to be able to make it your full time job and your main income resource you need to put lots of work in it before you’ll start seeing results.

I personally made at least once all these mistakes , I was not consistent with my posts especially at the beginning and I was expecting immediate results the first periods, but over the time I’ve understood that blogging is not so easy as everyone thinks. Blogging is as difficult as any other job and like any other business the more you work hard the more you will succeed .
