2016 review and my new year’s resolutions for 2017

2016 was full of new experiences and one of the toughest year ever that's why I created my new year's resolutions to make 2017 a better and happier year

2016 was the year with most of new experiences and ups and downs. Lots are the things that happened during the last 12 months : I moved to Milan, I attended a master, I started an internship, me and Ivan shared a home together for the first time, I took 20 flights to go back home and the week before Christmas I experienced for the first time the loss of a loved one, my grandfather.

The first months of 2016 were though and stressful, finding a home, moving to a new town where your family and friends are far away, managing a house, taking lessons from 9am to 5 pm and then go to the bitter end with the study and work in teams to complete the projects, try to find the time to be present for Ivan.

After 2 months I’ve finally founded the right balance between the study, the housework and take some time to spend with Ivan. At the end of November another stressful phase started when interviews began: the master that I’m attending includes 6 months of lessons that I’ve completed and 6 months of internship so after 2 weeks from my first interview, on December 13th I started my internship as E-commerce Account at Elite the joint venture between Yoox Net-a-Porter and Kering.

After few days from the beginning of my internship unfortunately another wave of sad emotions overwhelmed me when I had to return home the weekend before Christmas for the loss of my grandfather. I had to force myself to deal with the loss and to came back to Milan to work the following Monday.

It was a really tough year and I’m blessed to have Ivan with me that have supported me during these months.

That’s the reason why I was absent from the blog and why I have not posted so much content. I really miss blogging and that’s why one of my resolution of 2017 is to start posting again everyday.

After a week spent with my family, today I’m going back to Milan because tomorrow I have to work.

2017 has just started and my wish is to spend it quietly and I hope and wish to all you that it’s going to be a year full of happy moments and love.

Looking back at 2016 now I want to share my New Year’s Resolutions to make 2017 a better and happier year. I’m going to print this list and put it on the fridge so that everyday I can have a look at it and it will be easier to stay motivated and focused to reach all my goals and to be happier and thankful for what I have now.

You can save and print it too if you share the same New Year’s Resolutions or you can Pin it 😉
