What about your relationship with the online shopping?

Farfetch and Gucci have partnered together to introduce a new shipping service that will revolutionize the shopping system. They have launched F90 a new delivery service that will bring pieces straight from the Gucci store and drop them at a customer’s door.

Think about when you have a date and you have nothing to wear, you can now go on Farfetch.com  order your favorite Gucci items and get them at home in 90 minutes. It’s the dream of everyone who shops online : get the order in almost 1 hour.

F90 is available in 10 cities London, Paris, Madrid, Milan, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Dubai, Tokyo, São Paulo.

There are lots of advantages of online shopping : you can navigate through a big selection of products of every category, you can compare prices from different sites and get the best deal, you can buy something that you cannot find in your city from the other part of the world and you can do it at home from your couch. You can try clothes on in your bedroom and you can decide with time if you like them or not and return them for free, but then there is just one but important disadvantage: you have to wait to get what you have just bought.

This is what makes customer prefer the retail world to the online. Yes, of course when you buy online you cannot get the retail shopping experience but you can trust on another kind of experience (remember all the advantages mentioned above), just think about the filters! You don’t have to walk around the store for one hour to find a black dress, you just have to filter the category and the color and in one minute everything will appear.

Doing shopping online is easier and more relaxing and if all of our favorite brands could implement what Gucci and Farfetch have just launched, the numbers of people who buy online would definetely increase.

What do you think about? Would you do more online shopping if you can get your order in 90 minutes or do you prefer the physical shopping experience? Think about if you can get your Zara order in 90 minutes, at home without the queue for the dressing rooms and another queue for payment, it sounds great! Leave your comments below 🙂

  1. Ciao Giada,
