Today with New York, the Fashion Month officially starts. A week for every fashion capital full of events, fashion shows and presentations of the new F/W 2018-19 collections. On Twitter, NYFW is already a trend and we do not want to do the usual post about fashion week, but tell you 8 things that are not so well known about Fashion Week!

  1. The start of each show has a 30-minute delay on average
  2. The first fashion week in New York was organized by Eleanor Lambert in 1943 for buyers and publishers who could not go to Paris for runways
  3. The VIP customers are also invited to the fashion shows
  4. There are some looks of the catwalk that are never produced
  5. Who attends the fashion shows are publishers (54%) buyers (30%), employees and friends (13%), celebrities (3%) – from a NYT research
