Today we want to share with you all the apps we have on our smartphones. We love apps and nowadays there is an app for everything. We spent hours and hours each day on our smartphone so it’s normal we search for, download and use apps for everything.

We have listed our favorite apps for work, productivity, entertainment, food, photography and more.

We don’t have included obvious apps, because we know we all have Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype, Spotify…

Let’s start:

UNUM

Is the App we use to plan our Instagram feed. You can drag and drop your photos to see how they look like together and then schedule them.

BoF

You know we already talked about how important is to invest in your career. I registered to BoF professional and I pay monthly for their exclusive content. Members have access also to their app where I can directly read all the posts. Do you know we have a Membership too? Have a look at it here

Buffer

We love to use Buffer to plan all of our social media content. I usually use it form desktop but I have also the App to reschedule the posts faster.

Food Delivery Apps

When I don’t have time to cook, Just Eat, Deliveroo or Glovo save my dinners. Your favorite food from your favorite restaurant delivered at home, what’s better? I tend to cook all my dinners and launch so I use it only once a week.

Bike Sharing App

A thing that I love the most about living in a big city like Milan is all the services provided. I registered for the bike sharing service that I use a lot during Spring and Summer to go around the city.

Google Drive Apps

We use Google Drive to share and edit together our content. Docs, sheets and presentations. We usually work from our laptop but I have the apps too so I can access all the files whenever and wherever I want.

It’s the app I used to do my research on people to interview as well as having an idea of what is happening in the professional world. Some of the articles of Glam Observer have been inspired by the threads I’ve been reading on my feed.
Linkedin Job Search is a great tool to look for a job when you have no time.

Evernote

I’m currently writing this post on Evernote. I enjoy this app to put my thoughts or write my posts in. I like I can put any type of media in my notes to help me with my writing. I usually use it during my commute in the morning when my brain is still fresh to jot down my ideas or writing an entire post. 45 mins/1hour commute has never proved so creative thanks to Evernote!

Podcast apps

We love listening to Podcasts. We have listed our favorite shows here and we also have a Podcast too. These are the apps we use:

Giada: Itunes (iPhone only)

Emmanuelle: SoundCloud (Android)

Monzo

Monzo is currently helping me sparing money. Each month I put a definite amount of money on my Monzo card and each time I’m using it, the app sends me a notification. At the end of each month I then received a notification on how much I have spent. Since then I am more careful with my money.

Slack

Slack is an app I discovered while working. We use it now to communicate. We created a channel for every major area we are working on so that we don’t get lost.

Eggbun

I’m a linguist at heart and I need to flex that muscle. I enjoy language learning apps and since I have a huge addiction to South Korea, I downloaded Eggbun to learn Korean. So far, I have never seen such a great app to learn an Asian language! You learn the pronunciation, the writing, the grammar and vocabulary all at the same time. And it just feels like a game!

Bloglovin

It’s my go-to to keep updated on my favorite blogs and simply know what’s going on in the blogosphere. A simple scroll will let me know about what’s trending in no time. You can obviously follow Glam observer there to read each of our posts.

Booking and Airlines Apps

The fastest way to book a trip or a flight is through the apps. So I have all the apps of my favorite airline’s companies and also Booking to find and book hotels.

Culture Trip

I love traveling and Culture Trip has been a fantastic app to help me create itineraries for traveling. Each time I go somewhere, I just write the destination I want to go to on holidays and a bunch of useful articles will pop out. From hotels to book to places to visit or do like a local – Culture Trip will send you a notification each time an article about the place you want to travel to will be published.

TripAdvisor

When I’m traveling I look for the best restaurants using this app. I love reading the reviews and also to create a list of my favorite restaurants for each city. I currently have a list for every city I visited and I’m building a list for all the upcoming trips.

Weather Apps

I tend to look at the weather too many times in a day so I have an app for this!

VSCO

To edit my photos I use this App which I love. I bought all the filters for a year and I use it everytime I post a photo. I love it especially to edit the exposure of a photo to make it brighter.
