While we are all exposed to the most popular roles in the fashion industry such as the editor, stylist, designer, pr… the careers in fashion are so many and for sure not less exciting only because they are not so well known. Such as the job of Kelly Harrington that I’m excited to introduce to you today. With Glam Observer over the past 5 years, I’ve revealed many secrets and behind the scenes of fashion to inspire, inform and help you break into this industry and this new episode of The Glam Observer Podcast will cover new things and insights of the fashion industry I’ve never covered before and that you have more likely never heard about anywhere else.

Kelly Harrington has worked in the fashion industry for two decades, so thanks to all her experience she has many amazing stories and tips to share. What’s is even also impressive is the fact that she’s worked at the same brand for 20 years, something not so common nowadays and in fashion when someone on average stays in the same company for no longer than 2-3 years. She holds the title of Trend Forecaster, Vintage Archivist and Designer at the H&M group where she started 20 years ago as a print designer. 

Her career is really fascinating, fun and interesting. Let me just anticipate something for you: her job includes shopping vintage to build and curate a physical archive of amazing clothes that designers and buyers look at for inspiration and trends, but she also designs prints and patterns and comes up with new trends by looking also at early adopters on Instagram as a trend forecaster.
