The Europe Forbes 30 Under 30 List has been published and will be included in the February issue of the magazine.

It is always inspiring read stories of young people who have created and developed potent businesses within 30 year old.

Being part of that list is a privilege and most entrepreneurs must dream to see their name on the business site in the 30 under 30 category.

Our goal at Glam Observer is to motivate and inspire all of you so that you get the career of your dream and start a successful business. That is why we would like to read your name on the list next year ?

Here is what to learn from some of the nominees of the year and adapt their strategies to your business (or create a new one if you don’t have one yet).

Think strategically

Money isn’t the only thing to be aware of when taking decisions. Sometimes it is better to refuse the money and think rationally about making some by yourself. That is what Negin Mirsalehi did when she refused an $800,000 contract with a hair brand to concentrate on her brand Gisou. Despite a collaboration that would have secured her a big income, she didn’t accept it to fully focus on her business (with all the risks it takes to have your company). Not accepting such a contract is not an easy decision. But her choice enabled her to generate almost $3,000 000 of revenue through her products line. Therefore, her decision to start a business rather than accepting a collaboration has been more fruitful.

Learn then to think strategically and in the long term. Mature what you want to reach and evaluate the pros and cons of the decision you are making. No business has ever succeeded when they founders took the simplest decisions, being an entrepreneur means making risky decisions.

A business is also a passion

Almost all entrepreneurs have launched their business in a sector they were passionate about and knowledgeable. It is the golden rule to understand that an entrepreneurial idea started out of passion can become a profitable business. What is the thing you are searching the most on Google, what is the thing you are the most passionate about and on which topic you always inform yourself? Figuring out what is your passion isn’t always the recipe for success but you won’t get bored of your business and it is absolutely fundamental to become the top of the top. No business is born out of nothing and overnight success is nothing but a myth. Charli Cohen is part of the Forbes list this year thanks to her athleisure brand started out of her passion for sports. At 15 she was already the creator of a t-shirt line and by 17 she founded her first brand just because she was fueled by passion. By the end of her fashion studies at the Kingstone University, she already had a clear vision on what to focus on: an athleisure brand mixing her two passions, sports and fashion.

Think about your passions and how they could serve the market. There is always a gap to fill. It is just a matter of noticing it and above all target a niche. Successful brands are the ones that from Day 1 specialised in something. If you know that, nothing will prevent you from introducing other products afterwards, but if you want to start well then become a pioneer and reference for a specific market. The rest will come with time.

Becoming a successful entrepreneur at 30 isn’t for all. A lot of women are afraid to start because they never feel ready, think they don’t have enough experience and above all, they lack confidence in themselves. If you feel that way, remember that the perfect moment to start something doesn’t exist. Sooner than later, you will have to start. Your previous experiences can help you but you will learn your business essentials only by doing, getting things done. Therefore, start now. In this digital world, the winners are the early birds. You never know when someone will have the same idea as you. Therefore, start right now and don’t let the fear of failing stop you.
