Kristina Bazan has launched the blog in January 2011 Kayture sharing her daily outfits and a story in each new post. The blog, a mix of styling, personal diary and magazine grew rapidly, so the first collaborations started, following the invitations to fashion shows and events. Kayture today counts 100 thousand views per month, collaborates with top fashion brands and she is one of the L’Oreal Paris ambassadors.

THE STORY

Kayture was founded in January 2011 by Kristina Bazan when she was only 17 years old. Finished high school she decided to take a gap year to focus on the blog to make it her job. Kristina Bazan and James Chardon (ex-boyfriend and now business partner) have founded the “start-up” with no initial investment and no customers, they had to quickly develop the knowledge about the fashion industry and the digital world in order to start the business to the best . One of the first projects was with Vogue. Kristina posted each new outfit of lookbook, the platform where girls and boys share their looks. Her looks were in the homepage thanks to the likes received, this led her to be noticed by the editor of Vogue and Elle in this way her collaboration started. Kristina flew to Tokyo for the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. During that night  had the opportunity to meet Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli and Anna Winter only six months after the launch of the blog.

The key elements that led  the blogger Kristina Bazan and her blog Kayture to success are related primarily to the quality of the content. Contents are critical in a blog, there will never be traffic without content and traffic is all you need if you want to succeed with your own blog. Kristina and James have understood this from the beginning, in fact the photos and the posts have always been amazing, with a professional and editorial look improved more and more over time. The quality of the post, a careful selection of brands to partner with and a big blog traffic have allowed Kristina to be contacted by the most famous brands for collaborations including Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Hugo Boss, Gucci and ChloĂ©. Kristina Bazan was the first fashion influencer to work with luxury brands such as Chopard, Piaget and Cartier, and participated in exclusive events such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Victoria’s Secret show. Yesterday Kristina Bazan was appointed ambassador of L’Oreal Paris .Kayture was nominated for “Best Photography Blog” and “Best Blogger Business”, she won the award of “Blog of the Year” in the edition of 2014 Bloglovin Awards, and also of “Fashion Influencer of the Year” to Stylight Awards. Kristina Bazan and James Chardon were invited to Oxford to discuss the business of the blog. During the meeting it was pointed out how the blog is treated as a real business with substantial investments to be able to get to be among the top.

 

 

 

BUSINESS SIDE OF KAYTURE

Kayture reaches 100,000 monthly visits, with traffic directed mainly from the US and Germany, while the social channel more efficient in terms of blog traffic is Facebook
