New York Day 2 : MOMA, Macy’s & Victoria’s Secret

Good morning girls 🙂

I came back from New York and get out here in town seems so strange!

It all seems surreal, as if in New York I had not been there and at the same time all that I observe, any place, any shop, the lights of the city at night, everything is compared to New York and of course you can not make the comparison!

New York is a magic city that has left its mark on all of us!

Perhaps, in addition to all that has to offer, it is also this that makes New York so special!

Now I should focus on the exams, it took me a week to resume the rhythms and start studying, before departure I was too frenetic to study, now I’m are very late so now I have to give me to do 😀

Returning to my adventure here is my second day in New York!

It was a rainy day so we took the opportunity to visit the places indoors!

We went out to walk towards the MoMa museum and before arriving we passed by the famous LOVE sculpture.

I realized that one of the things I love about New York is their culture for art! I have always seen in movies many scenes filmed in art exhibitions! I had never seen one so I didn’t have really appreciated all the works of the museum, because I found  some of them unexplained even after listening to the explanation guide 😀

We found some of the artists and the most famous paintings that even for us non-experts in art was easy to recognize: D

After a tour of a couple of hours (it’s huge) we headed to Macy’s! The famous shopping mall just one step away from the Empire State Building!

 9 floors of sales and great experiences, and yet I went out after 5 hours without a bag in hand! 😀 Unbelievable!

Su internet avevo letto meraviglie su Macy’s ! 9 piani di ottimi affari, eppure io sono uscita dopo 5 ore senza una busta in mano! 😀 Incredibile!

Gli sconti c’erano, non al piano di sotto dove ovviamente avrei comprato tutto, però non erano proprio affaroni e la roba era un po’ accatastata, quindi non sono riuscita a trovare niente di interessante! Probabilmente penserete che sono pazza 😀 Perché lo penso anche io 😀 quando sono uscita dal negozio a mani vuote ho detto ” Forse è meglio se non diciamo che siamo stati da Macy’s visto che non abbiamo comprato niente ” 😀 mi sembrava assurdo dopo tutto ciò che avevo letto e dopo che quasi tutti uscivano con buste in mano O.o

Fortunately just outside Macy’s, at the opposite corner there was Victoria’s Secret!

The shop inside is beautiful! It is the best I’ve ever seen!

I A-d-o-r-e VICTORIA’S SECRET! Every time I am enchanted by the collections and fashion shows are always the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! It was my first time in one of their store and this is huge so it took me a long time to visit it all 😀

Obviously here I could not help but buy and believe me, I would have bought the whole store!

Pay no attention to my air t 😀 The hat does not help 😀

When I left the store was already dinner time and therefore, as we were out from morning non-stop and still tired due to jet-lag, we decided to have dinner in our apartment and then all to sleeeeeeeep : D

Because of jet lag and rain the first 3 days were less enlivened than those just after Christmas! So wait until you see photos of those days! Boat trip around Manhattan, view from the Empire State Building during the day and at night and New Year’s Eve in Times Square with the famous ball drop down  🙂
