Ciao a tutte! Buon anno nuovo! Come sono andate le vostre vacanze? Le mie sono state fantastiche.
Non ho aggiornato il blog, ma se mi avete seguita su Instagram e Twitter avrete saputo in tempo reale che sono stata a New York!
Mi sembra ancora un sogno!
Ho sempre desiderato vedere New York! La mia camera è piena di foto, lo sfondo del mio desktop è la vista dal Top of the Rock e persino la mia festa dei 18 anni è stata improntata su tema newyorkese , perciò potete immaginare la mia emozione quando abbiamo prenotato la vacanza!
Non riuscivo a crederci e la mia emozione è sempre stata alle stelle! Non vedevo l’ora che arrivasse il giorno della partenza . Settimane prima ho pianificato tutto, la lista dei luoghi da visitare, lo shopping, i ristoranti , la playlist con Frank Sinatra che cantava New York New York e tutte le canzoni di Natale per restare in tema !
Da questo potete dedurre che la notte prima della partenza io sono rimasta sveglia dall’emozione! Mi svegliavo ogni ora con la paura di perdere il volo anche perché abbiamo avuto qualche problema con il check-in online perciò fin quando non mi sono seduta sull’aereo diretto a New York non ho avuto pace 😀
Ho preso l’aereo solo un’altra volta, per andare a Londra, tutti gli altri viaggi li ho sempre affrontati in macchina perciò le 9 ore di volo non sono state leggere per me 😀 Abbiamo incontrato qualche turbolenza ed un vuoto d’aria , tuttavia mentre io stritolavo la mano di Ivan la gente sembrava abbastanza tranquilla, perciò dopo un poco mi sono abituata 😀
Tutto è terminato quando ci hanno annunciato che stavamo per atterrare al JFK .
“Alitalia vi da il benvenuto a New York ” una fra le frasi più belle che abbia mai sentito 😀 una sensazione di gioia di essere finalmente a New York e serenità per aver terminato il volo che sembrava interminabile 😀
Siamo atterrati a New York alle 18:30 del 20 Dicembre 2014.
Dopo lo sbarco , fuori dall’aeroporto c’era l’autista ad attenderci per condurci al nostro appartamento sulla 6th Avenue! Una delle strade più famose al centro fra la 7th Ave dove c’è Times Square e la famosa 5th Avenue.
Non dimenticherò mai quando ,durante il tragitto, dopo una salita comparse lo skyline di Manhattan di notte ! Uno spettacolo mozzafiato! Siamo rimasti tutti a bocca aperta ed uscivano grida di emozione!
Dopo un’oretta ero finalmente nell’appartamento di New York!
Anche se un po’ intontita dal fuso orario (in Italia erano le 3 di notte) sono uscita dall’appartamento non appena posate le valigie per andare a vedere Times Square a pochi passi da casa!
La piazza più bella al mondo! È esattamente come si vede nei film! Piena di schermi pubblicitari che la illuminano come se fosse giorno ed affollatissima! È stata un’emozione incredibile, mi sembrava essere in un film! Ovunque a New York sembra sempre di essere in un sogno, in un film, sembra tutto surreale e quando realizzi che è veramente la realtà, che tu sei veramente li, allora l’emozione è incredibile!

Saranno fantastiche : capodanno con Taylor Swift a Times Square, spettacoli di Natale, viste mozzafiato, lo shopping ed il giro in battello intorno a Manhattan!

Still seems a dream!
I always wanted to see New York! My room is full of photos, the background of my desktop is the view from Top of the Rock, and even my 18th birthday party was based on the theme of New York, so you can imagine my excitement when we booked the holiday!
I could not believe it and my emotion has always been to the stars! I looked forward to the arrival of the day of departure. Weeks before I planned it all, the list of places to visit, shopping, restaurants, the playlist with Frank Sinatra singing New York New York and all the Christmas songs to stay in Christmas theme !
From this you can deduct that the night before departure I have been awake! I woke up every hour with the fear of losing the flight also because we had some problems with the check-in online so until I sat on the plane for New York I had no peace 😀
I flew only once, to go to London, all other trips I have ever dealt with in the car so the 9 hour flight were not read to me: D We encountered some turbulence and a vacuum but while I was scared people seemed fairly quiet, so after a while I got used to that movement of the plane 😀
“Alitalia welcomes you to New York,” one of the most beautiful phrases I have ever heard: D a feeling of joy to finally be in New York and serenity for finishing the flight that seemed endless: D
We landed in New York at 18:30 of December 20, 2014.
After landing, outside the airport there was a driver waiting for us to lead us to our apartment on 6th Avenue! One of the most famous streets in the center between the 7th Ave where there’s Times Square and the famous 5th Avenue.
I’ll never forget when, on the way, after a climb appeared the Manhattan skyline at night! A breathtaking view! We were all amazed !
Although a little ‘dazed by the time zone (in Italy were 3 am) as soon as we leave the bags we went to Times Square that was just steps away from home!
The most beautiful square in the world! It is exactly as you see in the movies! Full of advertising screens that light up like it is day and crowded! It was an incredible feeling, it seemed to be in a movie! Anywhere in New York always seems to be in a dream, in a movie, it all seems surreal and when you realize that it is the reality, that you are really there, then the emotion is incredible!
